The national team won all 16 matches at the international robotics competition. Robotics clubs at Mars are free for our students.
On 7-10 October, Incheon (South Korea) hosted FIRST Global Challenge 2026, an international robotics competition. Uzbekistan's national team won all 16 of its matches and became the champion.
This year's theme was preventing wildfires and restoring damaged land. Teams from about 190 countries took part. In the overall ranking Uzbekistan finished ahead of Mexico and China, and in an international alliance with Venezuela, El Salvador and Moldova it won gold in the final.
The team was welcomed in Tashkent on 12 October, and on 13 October its members received state awards by presidential decree. The next competition will be held in Madrid in 2027.
Congratulations to the team! Big wins start with curiosity and a first step. At Mars, robotics clubs are free for all our students — sign up via Space.
